Who is living in YOUR tree?

We discovered this morning, actually Bill discovered, that we have at least two coon (as in Racoon) living in one of our big trees that we can view out the kitchen window. Now I know what the dog has been into barking at come night fall when we just get tucked in for a sleep...a sleep he soon interrupts. We are in the middle of a wild life refuge I think because the other night, and I had guests in the house, I had just gone to bed and the dog was barking away...but there was also another sound... a more yipping sound.... which I'm sure was a coyote that was right up in our yard. Richard thinks maybe it was a female coyote in heat because dogs and coyotes will mate. I wasn't going to risk that, in came our dog!

Who knows what is really going on out there when the lights are off and we're snoring away. (literally). It's another world, that sometimes we might get a glimpse of. Right? Right!

I just completed a training seminar on inner healing and deliverance... Again, also a reminder that there IS another world out there. But in this case if we live in ignorance of it's existance, we lose. The truth sets us free.

What really lives in our tree? Good news is that we, God's children, have authority to tell the coons (spiritual coons as in snakes, and serpents) to go! Now, about the physical coons! Wonder if Richard or Bill will come up with something. They, the coon, might be amusing to watch, (if they let us) but they sure enough also might be a threat. (glad we don't have sweetcorn here this year for their delight!) But might they attack my cat or dog in the night if they wander too close? Foolish to think coons are harmless... as in serpents, snakes and vipers.
