I believe!

Can one be a Christian and yet not believe the Bible is the Word of God? Is the enemy of our souls inching in more and more to try and deceive the children of God into believing it is only a book produced by man, and therefore fallible? Is he convincing some that it is irrelevant, or outdated. I believe so...I believe this sad and frightening trend is an evil in our midst.

Recently, at least two people have said to me that they are having trouble with what the Bible says. These are wonderful Christians, but the world's mindset is knocking at their door and they've answered, buying into the belief that "man's reasoning, man's intelligence, is the better guide" rather than God's Word. Does not God, in His Word, tell us that in the end times many will be deceived and turn from the truth. ... and it is happening! Those who have known it's power, will not be deceived; but those who have never learned this, though they be Christians, can be. Pray that it not be you or your neighbor.

The Word is alive and powerful! It is what we are to stand on, what we can proclaim and thus affect our world, our circumstances, the atmosphere. Maybe the church has not done that nor taught this for so long... that it has just become a book to some. Maybe the church has lost the fact that we can take it up, with authority and confront the enemy! IN fact, I will attest that demons DO know that they have to submit to what the Word says. If the demons know the authority of the Bible, shouldn't we? Pray that the church be not deceived but be encouraged to take it up, believe it and apply it, to even speak it out in faith. Pray you are not deceived in believing the lie that mankind makes more sense and is wiser than The Book. Please, dig in and know this wonderful inspired word of God! Attest to it's power and life...let others know!
