Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Prov. 31:30

This is so good!

I just read a really really good book. Surprising, I know, for a librarian, but this book, a real story, is worth your time. It is the cry of my heart to be used in such a way that I might rescue someone and provide a safe refuge for them - the children - as this man did. It tears my heart in two knowing there are so many children today in serious circumstances. And yes, here in the US too! The book is "Little Princes" by Connor Grennan. He goes to Nepal for a three month stint working with orphans.... but he falls in love with them... finds other children being trafficed during the Mao war and rescues them. Over time, he sets up an orphanage of his own and sets to work reuniting the children with their families. I know there is someone out there who will enjoy this book too and I just wanted to share it with you. And after reading this, I felt I knew the country of Nepal and loved the children myself.

Looks great mom. I will check it out. I have a Bible college friend from Nepal. He and his wife live there running an orphanage and Bible college.

Love you!
