The devil loves us to give up

The devil loves us to give up, wear down, or get tired of fighting. If you stop short of victory, if you give up, cuz you'd rather sleep (a common tactic of the enemy), or you believe the lie that it is useless... you miss nothing short of life to its fullest. We must understand that the devil is a fighter and persistant. We must be MORE persistant than he and fight longer. We have a leg to stand on (our authority given to us by Christ). He does not... but he argues the fact with you...especially if he has had residence somewhere for a long time. Of course he thinks he should stay. As children of God we are to have the blessing of the yokes of the enemy broken off of us. Leviticus 26:13 says this.
I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt so that you would no longer be slaves to the Egyptians; I broke the bars of your yoke and enabled you to walk with heads held high.
We must go to battle to have the yokes of darkness broken off our necks....we must appropriate the blessing and call upon the Lord to break the yoke. We are to be a people with heads held high, no longer controlled, suppressed or oppressed by the enemy. The devil loves you to give up, to not fight, to give in. But No thanks. I choose a head held high. I prefer looking to the heavenlies. I prefer praising a powerful and good and righteous God. Don't give up! Persist more than the devil persists! With a brother or sister, go to battle, call upon God to break the yokes that are hindering us and enjoy Kingdom life as it was meant to be enjoyed!

Great word and reminder Patsy!
We so need to reminder each other of the truth that the Lord is our victor and has so much for us. The enemy is not going to give up the ground God is taking back without our persistant stand in Jesus!
Thanks for sharing
